Alison Richardson headshot

Alison Richardson is a Community and Economic Development Agent serving the residents of Jefferson County. She also manages the Jefferson Local Development Corporation (JLDC). Prior to joining Montana State University in 2017, Alison served as a faculty associate in the College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University. She earned her Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Urban Management from Arizona State University and holds an undergraduate degree in Family and Human Development. Alison enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children, reading historical fiction, and fly-fishing.

Tom Harrington

Tom is the Economic and Community Development Agent and JLDC Co-Manager. He has worked at the Madison Jefferson County Extension office since 2002. Tom is retired from the military and has a degree in finance. When he isn't supporting community endeavors all over the county, you can find Tom panning for gold, hunting in the mountains, or spending time with his granddaughters.

Kaleena Miller

Kaleena is the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent and started work with the Madison Jefferson County Extension office in February of 2019. Since moving to Butte from New York state in 2011, Kaleena has served as an AmeriCorps member, worked for the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT), and most recently, worked for the Alternative Energy Resources Organization (AERO). She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of Rhode Island and a Master's Degree in Environmental Policy from Bard College.  Kaleena lives with her husband Dave in Butte and in her free time, you can find her doing something active such as hiking, skiing, or playing roller derby. She also enjoys the challenge of gardening in Butte's short growing season.

 

Chris Lamoreaux

Chris is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but has lived all over the country. She brings a diverse background to JLDC. She has been in many management positions in her career and has a flair for multi-tasking. She has been in purchasing and private government work for the past 15 years. Her years of experience give her much practical and hands on experience. She has a passion for helping people and is excited to be a part of JLDC.


Chris is a dancer in her spare time. She has owned her own dance studio and has been on many dance boards throughout Idaho and Utah. She judges studio and drill team competitions on weekends. Her one claim to fame was to be chosen to dance in the movie “Footloose”. Chris has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She is extremely excited and honored to live in beautiful Whitehall, Montana.
